The dental team is the first line of defense to detect oral cancer. One of our goals is to increase the efforts within the dental community to recognize that this is “our cancer” to detect. We encourage your dental practice to be involved with Oral Cancer Awareness Michigan to support these efforts. Together we can drive the public to oral cancer awareness and encourage annual screenings in the dental chair with dentists and hygienists in our community.
